Dear WAXAHACHIE Lions Club,
The Lions Sight and Tissue Foundation has been part of District 2X-1 since 1956. Currently our focus is Vision Clinics throughout District 2X-1.
This year we have examined over 2,300 North Texans and we’ve put glasses on nearly 2,000 of them. But this comes at a cost of fuel, bus maintenance, and equipment to name a few items.
With that in mind we are trying to raise found by raffling off a 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid pickup truck. This is a brand new vehicle that hasn’t even been delivered yet, but has been ordered. The tickets are $100 each and we will be selling no more than 1,000 tickets. The winning ticket will be drawn on June 1st, 2023 and the car will be awarded at the Annual Denim and Diamonds Gala later in June of 2023.
